As winner of the James Beard Award for best chef in New York City, April Bloomfield has become one of the most recognisable names on the cooking scene in New York. She own two Michelin star restaurants alongside a few others that consistently receive great reviews. He has won many awards for his establishment, which locates itself as a kind of restaurant-bakery hybrid.
Nancy Silverton won the James Beard outstanding chef award for 2014, cementing her position as one of the top chefs to look out for in 2015. She is located in Los Angeles and is famed for her popularisation of sour dough and artisan bread.
